My Work

What I do:

I work at the intersection of scientific evidence, public communication and high-attention trends. Through Beyond the Buzz Media™, I independently examine questions across health, technology and culture—looking at what the evidence supports, what remains uncertain and what that means in context. My work draws on 25 years in health and life sciences, including senior national and global roles spanning scientific strategy, evidence and insight, and scientific communications.

Ask me about:

Ask me about the evidence behind high-attention trends across health, technology and culture; how to interpret scientific claims when public narratives are more certain than the underlying research; communicating uncertainty clearly; AI, evidence and scientific information; how science changes as it moves through media and social platforms; and how to distinguish what evidence actually supports from what is being inferred, amplified or promised.

Why me:

I combine scientific training, extensive experience applying evidence in complex real-world settings, and current public-facing science communication. I hold a PhD in Neuropsychology and spent 25 years in health and life sciences, including senior national and global roles at Pfizer. Through Beyond the Buzz, I now independently examine evidence across diverse public questions in health, technology and culture. My focus is not simply explaining studies, but helping audiences understand what the evidence means, where uncertainty remains and how much confidence the evidence actually supports.
